The plum blossoms in full bloom.

The blossoms bring the light of an early spring to Olmue.

Sun setting on the 2-person suites.

Which bottle of wine should we open tonight? Each suite has a small kitchenette and each cabin has its own small open kitchen.

Maya all fresh and alert in the morning. A happy baby in her little "fort".

The main lawn at Olmue Natura.

Daddy-daughter pensive moments.

Mommy-daughter portrait.

Maya waiting for her parents to get ready to go out for a drive.

The valley is so very green that it almost looks fake. (Photo taken from the Landgasthaus Schwartzwald outside Olmue.)

Trying out some of the locally made German-style beer. (Photo taken at the Landgasthaus Schwartzwald outside Olmue.)

Cooked up a feast back at the Olmue Natura. Each cabin has a large grill, and each of the suites has a collapsible grill. Chileans love their grilling!

Doing baby presses is good for Shaw's health as well as Maya's demeanor. The early warm spring weather on that weekend made it possible for everyone to enjoy the outside without bundling up.

Happy birthday, Rafa! (The delicious cake purchased at the Dona Cata bakery near our apartment in Santiago, and we are thinking about using them to make the desserts for November 29th.)
